Hi every one, i am running my first scan and i want to ask if i am suppossed to be offline when i run a scan? also during my scan which i am running as i post this and my toshiba does have the online switch on. I am running the scan on another laptop, and a window keeps poping up and it says windows explore has stopped working, windows explore is searching for solutions, and then it goes away and another window pops up both with bars running in them and the seconed window says windows is restarting, these two have kept coming in and out the whole time the scan is running, and my icons dissapear and reappear, and colors are changing on the screen. the lap top is a toshiba satelite with windows vista, this is my first scan as i just purchassed norton 360 today. before today i had constantgaurd from my internet cable provider.. I have always had some issues with this lap top booting me ofline, or having to close ect, but i just figurad that was windos vista, or toshiba, because i had some issues from day one of purchassing the laptop new, but after installing norton 360 it did not ask me to restart my computer and it only acted up when i asked it to do a scan.
My question is, is this normal, or do i have a virus that is fighting the scan? as of this minute the scan shows 180,000 items scanned and 69 found and resolved, but the scan is still in progress, and the whole time those windows are still poping up, with those messages.
