Internet Connection Not Working

Hey guys,

 

So I just updated to the new Norton 360 up from v6 through the update setting in the program.  I had Malwarebytes installed before the updating and it always worked without a problem while I had Norton 360 installed also.  While I was updating a popup came up saying they were not compatible together and that I should uninstall Malwarebytes.  I decided against it since it was probably being overly cautious.  After a restart my notebook would no longer connect to the internet.

 

I decided to test it out and uninstalled Malwarebytes.   After a restart it still would not connect, but then I shut down my computer fully and then started it up again.  It then started to connect to the internet.  I then reinstalled Malwarebytes and after restarts it stopped connecting to the internet and will only connect after uninstalling Malwarebytes and then a full shutdown.

 

So I guess what I'm wondering is if the new Norton 360 no longer works with Malwarebytes or if maybe there's something in the settings I am not aware of that will block off my internet connection.  Both programs are up to date.  Also I am using Windows 8 Pro.  Not sure if that's the cause or not since both should support it.
