I continue to have problems with Windows 8 and Norton 360 (it is the latest version available as I was able to get Live Update done last night). I would love to give you version number, I know it is 20 something, but Norton has crashed yet again. This was a clean install of Windows 8 (completely updated) on a Dell D820 laptop Intel T2600 @ 2.16GHz, 32-bit Operating System. I have run the scrubber at least 4 times, uninstall and reinstalled at least 2 times. Identity Safe tells me I need to restart and Norton drops from my notification area. I find nothing in the error logs as to why this has happened. I have posted several times with absolutely no help. It is very sporadic and I can not associate it to any one thing in particular. Sometimes it will go for hours, even a day or two with no problem and then I go through boughts where it crashes almost as soon as I login into Windows.
Has anyone else had the same problem or found a fix?
