Installed new 360 version a week ago but I have an account and an existing b/u space online. Attempted b/u to online space but insufficient room, and I got an explanation of this after a couple hours. Reset the b/u set to what I hope will fit, ran it for a full day, and it was 18% completed when I went to bed. Set to turn off when completed. In AM computer was off but the backup warning still on and available space where it was but no explanation or warning of fail. Questions: why did PC turn off if it did not complete? Is the new version not synching with the existing b/u data? How do I find/examine/ the log to troubleshoot this? How can I ascertain when I have a set that will fit my available space without tying up machine for 24 hrs? Are there advanced instructions for more effiicently setting b/u sets, as the existing process seems very time consuming. Must be a better way.
