All of my files are backed up on a network drive. When I Selected restore; I selected the entire backup, and a destination of drive C on the new hard drive. All that I could find one the new hard drive were in pictures in My Document/Pictures folder. Nothing can be found for contacts and emails in my Outlook 2010; nothing can be found in my Itunes; Favorites folders can not be found; homepage settings can not be found; and my word and excel documents can not be found.
I thought Norton Restore would find and restore the files to their respective program and data folders/file locations. I don't know where to put the backed up files other that my "C" Drive. It remains frustrating trying to recover from a hard drive crash.
Any ideas would be welcome to help me restore my pc to the way it was at the last backup.
