dinihou.r not detected by N360

Hi all, First of all let me tell that I've only moderate knowledge and experience using N360. This question is for my friend's system. I'm using NIS latest ver and hers is N360 latest. Today, she asked me to help me with file hidden problem in her removable drives. On scanning a removable drive (clean) connected to her system, in my system, I got detections of dinihou.* which were removed (over 15 files were infected) from pendrive via my laptop (NIS). She had Avast free in her system prior to N360, which was cleanly removed, registries and junk files were cleaned throughly by manually and using tools. (Oh! It took a lot of time) I would like to know why N360 didn't detect the threat, whereas NIS detected it? Will using NPE or MBAM be help full? Should I reinstall N360 or Win7 or get help from malware forums listed in this community? (It will be a burden, anyways. So consider it prefered at end) I've asked her to do a full system scan after updation of N360 and using MBAM free. All helps are appreciated. Updates may follow. System specs: Win 7 Ultimate N360 Up-to-date All browser plugins and files intact. 6 Gigs of RAM i5 Processor 3rd gen (The source of virus is our lab computers, they have a lot of dinihou.* varients) Note: Her laptop with AVG free ed (up-to-date) also didn't find the threat on same device.Later when I connected it after cleaning dinihou.r and again connected to her laptop, back to my laptop, there was n threat. I ran MBAM in it and found no infections.(Oh! I just scanned only, didnt open it in hers lap). So I think she hasn't shared data with her laptop and system, and has asked her not to do it untill things are cleared off.
