Just like many I am having error 3038,104 with upgrade to 360 version 21.1.0.18 on 02.17.14. Symantec "Chats" and remote controls only took my time and did not work for more than 1 or 2 days. Looks like my best choice is to do it myself and to uninstall remnants of my NIS 2012 and my new 360. So far I am using 360 like I did my NIS 2012 w/o backing up passwords, to the cloud etc. Once I can get through the errors and repeating 180mB+ updates I will be using more of the 360 tasks.
Please tell me the safest and best method to uninstall/reinstall and get 360 ver. 21.1.1.7 w/o exposing my system to attacks. Thanks.
Windows7 Home Premium. 64 bit SP1. I also use CCleaner and Malwarebytes.
Computer was fine prior to this new upgrade with no signs or symptoms of issues.
