Norton 360 Online backup no longer works - again!

I have N360 20.2.0.19 and have been using the online backup for a few months (after a load of hassle). Suddenly it's stopped working.

 

On the nobu.backup.com page at the top it says "Yout Norton Online Backup license has expired. To renew, please ......"

 

In account.norton.com, my N360 is confirmed as not expired (Feb 14, 2013). Strangely the Storage Amount is shown as 2GB but elsewhere (e.g. the nobu page) it shows 6GB - never unstood this but never mind.

 

In the application, Backup > Manage Backup Sets, the Secure Online Storage in the Destination window has a "Click here to activate your Secure Online Storage" link. Clicking this produces the "We are unable to proceed with Norton Account at this time. Please try again later." Cancelling out of this produces the rather stupid "Congratulations!" window which says:

 

"You have successfully activated Norton 360 Online Backup with 0 GB of online storage. You are ready to ............... Please click NEXT to continue storing your files online."

 

Not surprisingly, it still doesn't work.

 

Why is this software such a complete mess?

 

Any help gratefully received.
