Trojan.Delf

My computer started acting suspiciously last night so I got MBAM (MalwareBytes Anti-Malware) on my computer, and did a full system scan to find out if anything was wrong.  There was a major thing wrong with my computer that apparently Norton 360 could not detect.  It was called Trojan.Delf like in the title of this Subject.

It had infected 38 system files by altering the programming code for these files.  MBAM not only detected it, but also was able to quarantine it alone with the infected 38 system files in a seperate quarantine.  I had it delete the Trojan.Delf off of my computer, and it was able to fix all of the files.  Trojan.Delf was on my computer since 12/02/12, and the last time I did a full system scan with Norton 360 was on 12/08/12.  It seems that Norton/Symantec either longer cares about protecting people's computers, or they are starting to get overwhelmed from all of the cybersecurity attacks that seem to be getting more complicated, and harder to detect/stop before they become serious.  It does not seem that Norton/Symantec no longer cares so that option can be ruled out from how good they have been.

I just wanted to let people know of a possible serious threat to their computers with this post.  I don't know if Norton/Symantec is aware of this Trojan.Delf already, or if this is something new, and I don't know of anyone else reporting this so far so I posted about it to give people a heads up.
