Okay, I was having problems with my last Norton 360 version 20.2.0.19, and I used the Norton Removal Tool. Today I purchased the 360, and it's the same version as before. While running Live Update, the Patch installer popped up & I proceeded with that. Ran a Full Scan, and 2 threats were detected. They were listed as: High risk, Updater 21804.exe (Security Risk Downldr) detected by Virus Scanner, and Updater 21804.exe (WS Security Risk. 1) detected by Virus Scanner & removed. Why was the 2nd one removed and the first one put into Quarantine? Why wouldn't both be removed? In the Quarantine section it has the option of "Clear Entries", is it advisable to use that and clear the entry?
Second Question: Why when the Patch update was performed is it still showing the current version as the previous one I had before when I click on the "About" tab under Support. My husband's computer just received the new patch, and his version number changed. I'm a tad or maybe a lot confused about this patch thing and version thing.
