Exploit and Toolkit warnings

On my LAPTOP (Win 7 32 bit) , I just dealt (again) with the latest(?) variation of the MoneyPak scam.  (Homeland Security - then FBI -- 2 for the price of one, I guess).

This version was especially insideous 'cause it would allow me to get into SAFE MODE. I was - eventually - able to find a C:\ prompt screen - and run in Safe Mode (though I'm not certain I could document the work around or replicate it??).  I used MWB to get rid of 7 (seven) trojans?? and we appear to be back-in-business.

At  this very moment, I'm running a FULL 360 SCAN and I'm seeing "Malicious Toolkit Activity 3" and "Cool Exploit Kit Website" warnings while the scan is underway.

What's up with that?  I mean, I don't think I'm even on-line while the scan is running, am I??

While 360 seems to be fending off those "attacks", I'm concerned that these things seem to "his" many - many times during a typical on-line session.  Is there a way to avoid these "possible attack" - Are they using resources? Should I change any settings?

PS: Thankfully, my desktops (an XP and a Window 7 Pro 64-bit) which are also protected by 360 don't seem to suffer these intrusions.  Why the difference?
