Subscription not active????

I have a 2nd computer that I don't use on the internet much, but I have it plugged up so ( so I thought) I could keep getting updates on my Norton.  I recently got a message that my Norton 360 subscription was not active because I had not connected to the internet recently.  I tried to connect to the internet to update my protection, but somehow I can't get connected.  I have another computer right next to that one and I don't have a problem connecting.  I have not had a problem in the past when I Did have to connect to the internet on the one in question.  I have made sure my cable for the internet is plugged in.  Does anyone know what's going on???  Obviously it has something to do with Norton not letting me connect.  The only thing I can assume.  I would appreciate any answers.  I tried to call a number that it gave me (1-800-745-8034) but was told the toll free number was not active.

Don't know what to do at this point.  Please Help.... Thank you...
