Can I report N360 bugs here?

I have WIN 8.1 and N360 installed on my new laptop.  I have reproduced what I believe to be bugs in N360.  They are related to Identity Safe I believe.  I can't find anywhere on the Norton site to report these.  Here some of the things I've observed.  Please be patient with me in advance and please refer me to the correct place!

And on my desktop I have a "white bar."  It only seems to go away when I reboot.  I tried toggling the Start Screen with no change.

While I'm here... When I tried to get online assistance The Autofix reported I had one issue (that was fixed.)  I'd like to find out about the problem:

Registry Cleaner Hangs on my Windows 7 64 Bit Lap top on the Fonts Section...

 

Anyone have this issue or a fix?

Norton 360 Premier Edition ver. 21.2.0.38 on Windows 7 Ultimate.

 

I know there are multiple posts regarding this problem bun none applies to this case.

 

I think this is serious. Is somebody able to beat Norton?

I have received email from BBB an attachment in my email. I know that this is a bogus message and I am 95% sure that attachment  has a virus. Zip file contains .scr (screen saver) file so it is an executable module (.exe). It contains MZ signature. It has Adobe icon. When launched installs itself as Scaip.exe containing Win32:Dropper-gen [Drp] virus.

 

This was detected by Avast.

 

One more thing: this behavior is different on Windows 8 ultimate - 64-bit. Norton does not report any threads with live update ran just before scan.

 

If needed i can attach the file in question.

 

 

Something is running on every partitions ... Virus infected ?

When I remove an unused partition, it shows following error message, and I get no idea what is using it, which is simply 64mb empty space.

 

Not able to finish, because partition is opened or being used, it could be set as system, bootup, virtual memory or keep a damage printed file.

Partition (T:) is being used at this moment, if you force to remove this partition, please press Yes
Warning: force to remove may cause the application using this partition error accidently, do you want to continue?

 

After I force to remove it, and create a partition (T:), I remove it again for testing, there is no error message, it seems strange on this partition, does it have any hidden activity on it?

 

I install a clean XP, and recreate each partition, and test each partition by removing and recreating them, there is no warning message, but after I connect to my old HDD, which keep the backup, then I try to repeat above test procedures by removing and recreating any partition, it shows above warning message again.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions on what is going on? Does anyone know any virus performing this behaviours?

security history won't open

After completing a scan I noticed that I could not open the secutiry history. I was instructed to reinstall my Norton 360 to correct the problem. Now it is working just fine but I am wondering if I can access the security history prior to when I experienced this problem?

I am inundated with Norton Community Mailer. I have tried the suggestion to go to Options, but there is NO reference to UNSUBSCRIBE listed. How can I stop these mailers? What can I do next?

How do I add a new login to the Vault? In the older versions of Norton 360 there was an option to add a login, but new verson only has existing logins in. HELP PLEASE!


Windows Update entry in Security History

After installing this month's Windows Update, I noticed that I have an entry for Windows Update in my Download Insight section of security history. 

 

Is this normal? Just I can't remember this happening before. It's for the Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool

N360 is blocking my wireless connection to new TalkTalk Dlink router

TalkTalk recently sent me a new DLink router for adding YouView TV. Since connecting it up some setting is blocking my wireless connection to it. After spending 2 lengthy calls to their technical dept (total 2.5 hrs) they have said because of issues with Windows Vista Home Basic Service Pack 2 and they have tried all of their options it is a problem with my antivirus software blocking the connection. All I get is Access Local only and when I try using the MSoft diagnosis option this comes back saying there was a timeout. There was no issues with the old router only this new one which they say I need for compatibility with their YouView box. I have noticed that there is a new internet protocol IPv6. Is this a cause of the blocking and is there any settings in Norton 360 that can be changed to make this work again. The only way I can connect to internet now is via the LAN yellow cable plugged in to my laptop. My wife's laptop running on Windows 7 has no problem connecting wirelessly to the new router, nor do we have problems connecting smartphones to it. Is this a Norton 360 issue or an issue with my computer's settings?

I run Windows 7.  At the bottom right of the screen, on the start bar (sorry I don't  know the terminology) is the show desktop little blue screen, to its left is a digital clock, and to the left of that is a two uparrow chevron. 
When I click that chevron, I see icons for my keyboard software, a backup program, an action  centre flag, and two Norton 360 yellow icons.  Why are there two? 
I am fairly sure there has previously only been one, though I am not sure how long ago the extra one appeared.  Clicking either one opens Norton 360.

Yesterday I tried to renew my Norton 360 subscription which expires today.  I used discount code N360US40OFF and got the message that the code was not valid.  I've tried the renewal process on another computer up to the point of providing payment information and this code appears good.  Any idea why I would get the invalid code message on my computer?  Thanks.

Hi

I have been having critical performance problem for last 4 months using Norton.  Earlier also I was having the problem which I contacted Norton support who removed the norton and reinstalled assuring better performance.  But the issue was not resolved. 

Yesterday I contacted Norton.  One support person took the control of my system removed lots of files and removed norton.  Finally he rebooted the system and then the system got crashed.  Then I have to boot the system in safe mode.  By doing this for some time, my system booted in normal mode.  By the time the support person left  and I took another support person.  He again rebooted the system.  By the time I logged in he also left becuase it is 5.30 in the evening. 

So again I took another support person help.  In the chat he mentioned that, the norton is not meant to run in Laptops and Desktops and it is meant for servers only.  But he said he will try to solve the problem did something and rebooted the system and again my system crashed.  After logging in ,  the logmein rescue aksed me to install another logmein rescue due to time out. 

So I took one more person help.  While chatting she disconnected and left the chat room.  So again I did the same thing.  Another chat person assured resolution and the same thing.  The ended like this.  Today again I started taking the support from another person.  He assured resolution for all problems.  Uninstalled the norton using nortor removal tool and removing entries from registry.  Rebooted the system and the system crashed.  So I rebooted using safe mode. 

Contacted the support again using chat mode again.  There is another person gave the same promise and I told my story.  Now the chat window is active and he is not respoding to my queries.  So is there any resolution norton could provide or I have to live with this?  Do you think it is ethical on Norton's part to provide this kind of pathetic support?

 

Do you have any one who is knows how to trouble shoot instead of uninstalling and reinstalling the software.  (Just to uninstall and re-install, I myself can do.  I don't require any "Technical Specialist" to do it)
